in-house position / Bregenz, Austria
In this challenging position you will work closely with our Head of Design to prepare commercially successful collections which embody Wolford’s DNA by a clear and distinct handwriting. In close cooperation with our product development team you will be in charge of seasonal trend articles, constantly renew our essential collection as well as introduce sophisticated capsule collections with a special focus on our legwear segment. Furthermore you will be able to develop new approaches and give impulses for all aspects from designs to materials.
Your main duties include:
- Researching, organizing, presenting and translating trend, graphics and color inspiration (incl. moodboard compilation)
- Sketching models and setting up technical specifications for each sample development (especially for our legwear segment)
- Researching and developing fabrics to ensure high-quality finishing of our products
- Interacting with other departments to get a clear vision of what is required for the respective collection
As our ideal candidate you have a degree in design and at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with technical knowledge in the tights knitwear or bodywear area. You are able to understand the essence of the Wolford brand to absorb its creative spirit and interpreting all aspects of them in a sophisticated collection. Note: We are legally obliged to publish the minimum monthly gross salary for this position of EUR 2.856,96 for 38,5 hours as determined by the Austrian Textile Collective Agreement. However, the actual salary will be significantly above this minimum salary.
