Wolford celebrated the first collection of the new creative director Grit Seymour with an extraordinary fashion show on the rooftop of the bathing house at Lochau’s Kaiserstrand yesterday. The three collection themes on show – Shine, Move and Layer – present feminine ease in a modern design, combined with clean lines and versatile functionality.
Just as the sun was about to set, the first model appeared on the special catwalk in the new Wolford look. The unmistakable, self-evident and versatile signature is pure, modern and luxurious. Set against the impressive backdrop of Lake Constance, twelve catwalk beauties presented the highlights of the spring/summer collection 2016.
The first collection theme, Shine, embodies pure understatement and glamour with glittering, shimmering materials. Meanwhile, clean lines and the innovative material composition, COTTON CONTOUR, developed especially for Wolford, provide a perfectly formed silhouette in a dynamic Wolford look for the Move theme. The third collection theme reflects ultimate coolness with the Layer look in an on-trend net design paired with airy, light translucence.
