Wolford: Style Contest partner at Life Ball 2015

The traditional Vorarlberg company, Wolford, is once again supporting the 23rd Life Ball, which will be held in Vienna on 16 May 2015, as an official partner. The Style Contest, where the person with the most extravagant look is crowned as the Life Ball Queen, is once again sponsored by Wolford. Other highlights include the raffling of vouchers in a tombola worth a total of 5,000 euros, as well as golden window displays in the two city-centre boutiques – Kärtner Straße and Graben – from the beginning of May.

“Wolford is conscious of its social responsibility as a globally active company. By taking part in the Life Ball we would like to contribute towards raising awareness for this important topic and, in particular, to continue supporting important educational work for women,” explained Creative Director Grit Seymour – herself a mother of a daughter – with regard to Wolford’s involvement.

The Style Contest, where the most extravagant costume is awarded a prize, is taking place again this year, sponsored by Wolford. The decision is made by an international VIP jury, who will then also crown the Life Ball Queen 2015. The winner will receive a special award in the form of a unique sculpture by the Vorarlberg-based artists NONOS. Another highlight of this year’s event is the Wolford promotional models, who will escort the guests along the red carpet – the designs are special Wolford creations, conceived by Grit Seymour. Golden inspiration can be found in the store window displays of the Kärtner Straße and Graben Wolford boutiques from the beginning of May. In addition, vouchers worth a total of 5,000 euros will be raffled in a tombola.

AIDS Life founder and Life Ball CEO Gery Keszler is excited about Wolford’s participation again this year: “As a brand rich in tradition with international charisma, Wolford and the Life Ball complement each other in a very unique way – in a joint fight against AIDS.” Wolford was already a Life Ball Partner and donator for AIDS Life from 1996–1998 and in 2014.
